Yo Sushi.

Hey,

abbieeats here,

hope you are all doing super well.

For my first blog post I thought id share with you a few of my favourite dishes from one of my favourite places to go for food, Yo Sushi! I always go to Yo Sushi every chance I get. I always go to the Yo Sushi restaurant in Liverpool One, so if you're ever in Liverpool, make sure you take a visit. I also wanted to write my first blog on Yo Sushi because I've heard a lot of people haven't been because 'they don't like sushi'. So I'm here to tell you there is a lot more than sushi to this place, let me show you.

Lets start with one of the dishes I get every time I pay a visit. The Inari Tacos! They super cute tofu pockets filled with rice, avocado, ponzu salsa and vegan sriracha mayo. These pockets of joy definitely go well with the avocado maki, six mini avocado sushi pieces.

Next up are veggie gyozas, Spinach dumplings filled with cabbage, carrots and edamame. I enjoy these a lot more than the chicken gyozas. Both gyozas are delicious, but if I had to choose, in my opinion I'll always pick the veggie gyozas. When I get the veggie, I usually get a side of Yasai Roll sushi to go with them as the work so well together.

If you are looking to get a curry at Yo Sushi, I recommend the Pumpkin Katsu Curry. Ive only had this dish recently myself, because I am not a massive fan of pumpkin, but I've always been curious, I took the plunge and ordered it and wow, I was really surprised at how delicious this was and I've now added it to my top list of favourites.

Another dish I always get is the spicy pepper squid. this is a dish of delicious crispy squid, dusted in shichimi powder & topped with spring onion and comes with a chilli and ginger dipping sauce. The perfect combo! Fun fact Yo Sushi was actually the first place where I tried squid for the first time and now I branch out and if squid is on the menu, squid is what I order.

Whilst I haven't dived into all the ramens at yo sushi yet, I have tried the Chicken Katsu Curry Ramen, only once and it was really good. Japanese friend chicken and noodles in a delicious curry broth. Topped with pak choi and spring onion. It is definitely a dish to get in the winter season. Warm and filling and hits the spot.

Next up on the list, is the Korean Fried Chicken. Yummy fried chicken, tossed in a tasty sweet and spicy Korean chilli sauce. You get five of these pieces of chicken on your dish and whilst they are super delicious, I don't tend to get these every time as I don't feel they are super good that I want them every time, but I do recommend you give them a try, because that sauce they are tossed in is top tier, 10/10, a must to try.

So there it is, a little insight to the other dishes you can get at yo sushi, other than sushi.

thank you so much for reading this.

Let me know your thoughts on the dishes and if you visit Yo Sushi what dishes you tried, Id love to hear from you.

stay super safe and slay your goals.
